Famous Rapper’s Charity Stream Nets $75,000

Musician Post Malone is using video games to give to charity. This comes after the rapper hosted a series of live streams on Twitch to raise money for several non-profit organizations.

The first live stream took place on July 18th. After that, a stream was held every other day until July 24th with the proceeds from each broadcast going to organizations like Human Rights Watch, Project HOPE, United Way, and The Trevor Project. This all comes as part of Post Malone’s Gaming For Love charity series, which raised over $75,000 for the aforementioned non-profits.

Post Malone joined forces with Respawn Entertainment to play Apex Legends during each charity stream. Throughout these broadcasts, the musician would face off against world-renowned gamers like iiTzTimmy and aceu.
