Square Enix has partnered with NFT company Enjin to mint a Final Fantasy VII NFT collection in 2023. As per the deal, the Final Fantasy VII 25th Anniversary cards and figures will launch on Efinity’s cross-chain network platform.
Even though the collection won’t be released until next year, people can now pre-order a commemorative action figure. According to Square Enix, “the deluxe physical product will include a code that can be redeemed for a digital version of the figure using the Efinity network, a next-generation blockchain for NFTs, powered by Enjin.”
Square Enix also revealed that pre-orders for the trading cards will go live later this year, although an official date has not yet been set.
