Oppo Wants To Improve Your Mobile Gaming Experience

The consumer technology company Oppo is looking to improve the gaming capabilities of mobile devices. This comes after the organization became an official member of the Open 3D Foundation (O3DF). This group aims to promote cooperation between mobile games and graphics devs in order to improve the space.

Oppo explained that as an O3DF member, it will work on the development and advancement of 3D graphics technology for mobile devices. Additionally, the company hopes to improve the performance of other mobile gaming industry leaders.

Hansen Hong, the director of Oppo software technology planning, explained that 3D graphics have become an “essential element of modern society.” Hong also said that the group “will bring smoother and more user-friendly mobile development experiences.”

Oppo is one of 25 technology companies that have joined O3DF. Some of the other organizations that have joined the foundation include Amazon, Intel, and Microsoft.
