Gen.G Reaffirms Commitment To Fashion

On September 19th, the sports company PUMA announced it had agreed to a multi-year partnership extension with Gen.G. As part of this new deal, PUMA and Gen.G launched a new global lifestyle clothing collection on September 20th. This clothing line was made available to Gen.G content creators and teams.

This new clothing collection aims to put a new spin on preppy apparel and accessories. The items in the line all have Gen.G’s “Change the Game” motto somewhere on the articles of clothing. The products in this collection can be purchased now via the PUMA website in the United States and South Korea.

“Their slogan is Change the Game, and that’s exactly what professional global gaming team Gen.G is doing in the esports arena,” reads the apparel line’s website. “Now, they’re bringing that same disruptive approach to our PUMA x GEN.G collaboration. The collection mixes the players’ streetwear sensibility and nods to nostalgia with varied typography and Asian-inspired graphics—a tribute to their Korean roots. The result? A line of Worlds-ready looks for hardcore and casual gamers alike. You may need to be AFK briefly to score these statement-making styles.”

This comes ahead of the 2022 League of Legends World Championships. Gen.G is expected to compete in the series which runs from September 29th to November 5th. gen.G is currently the number one seed amongst Korean teams.
