League Of Legends Is Coming To A Movie Theater Near You

On October 3rd, Riot Games announced that it had agreed to a partnership with Lexis Partners for the presentation of the 2022 League of Legends World Championship Finals. This deal will see the event broadcast as a live special event in countless movie theaters worldwide.

Thanks to this partnership, LoL fans and players will be able to experience the World Finals at movie theaters located in North America, Latin America, South America, Australia, Brazil, Europe, India, Korea, and Turkey. The finals will be held in San Francisco, California on November 5th, 2022.

“Worlds is the biggest esports event of the year, and this collaboration with Lexis Partners will help us bring the excitement of the World Final to big screens across the world,” said Naz Aletaha, Global Head of LoL Esports at Riot Games. “We look forward to providing the community with another way to experience the sport and spectacle that makes Worlds so special.”

The League of Legends World Championships officially kicked off on September 29th with play-in rounds. That part of the series will run through October 4th. After that will be the group stage from October 7th to the 10th.
