On October 7th, Nintendo announced that it would be hosting a crossover event that will see Pokémon collaborate with Splatoon 3 to celebrate the upcoming launch of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. This crossover will come in the form of a Pokémon Splatfest event.
For this Splatfest event, players will be able to choose from three Pokémon starter types: grass, water, and fire. Additionally, each team will be represented by one of the three starter Pokémon in the upcoming game: Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly.
Splatfest participants will also receive in-game cosmetics based on which team they end up choosing. Physical versions of these items will be available through the Japanese Pokémon Center as well as the New York Nintendo Store.
The Pokémon x Splatoon 3 crossover event will begin on November 11th, one week before the release of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. This collaboration will run from 7 PM EST on the 11th to 7 PM EST on November 13th.
