According to a study conducted by VPNoverview, Xbox has the worst privacy policies among major gaming companies. VPNoverview‘s study was based on numerous factors including reading level, difficulty, words per sentence, syllables per word, and overall readability score.
Xbox wound up receiving the worst score out of all gaming companies with 26.1 points. Nintendo had the second-lowest score for a gaming company at 26.7 points. Wizards of the Coast placed third while PlayStation placed fourth.
VPNoverview also developed a list of the 20 worst companies in terms of privacy policies. Unfortunately, Nintendo and Xbox both ended up on that list. However, their VPNoverview scores were better than other major brands like Netflix and Disney, which had the worst score of all organizations mentioned.
