Two former Betway executives (Tim Whyles and Adam Savinson) recently launched a new esports media company known as Zealium Media. This comes after the two founders said they found a gap in the esports industry because there is no organization out there that produces high-quality media while also generating traffic within the larger esports space. Now though, this company will produce several publications and other types of creations that can be used in the competitive esports scene.
According to EsportsBets.com, the company will start out with a focus on VALORANT for its first ventures. Eventually, the plan is for the organization to diversify and expand into other esports titles.
“Esports has been a massive part of my life for the last 15 years, and I couldn’t be more excited to get closer to the detail in the industry that I live and breathe,” said Savinson. “At Zealium Media, we are hitting the ground running and I can’t wait to announce the first projects in our pipeline and start giving back to the esports community.”
Savinson and Whyles are ideal founders for this company. Prior to founding Zealium, Whyles served as the Managing Director of Betway Group’s BG Marketing Service. Meanwhile, Savinson most recently worked for Betway as the company’s esports director.
