Polish video game company CD Projekt recently announced the company’s third-quarter financial results for the 2022 fiscal year. This three-month period, which ended on September 30th, signified the best Q3 in company history.
Revenues for CD Projekt were up 70% from 2021, topping out at $54 million. CDP’s subsidiary, CD Projekt Red saw revenues increase by 96%. Meanwhile, CD Projekt’s net profits were up 504% year-on-year.
“In terms of financials, this was the best third quarter in our entire history, with consolidated revenues at zł246 million ($54.3 million), mostly owing to strong sales of Cyberpunk,” said CD Projekt’s chief financial officer, Piort Nielubowicz. “The group posted zł99 million ($21.8 million) in net profit.”
As it turns out, television played a huge part in the company’s recent success. In fact, PC Gamer‘s Andy Chalk said that the organization’s animated Netflix series, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, “helped drive sales even further, and pushed the studio to a new quarterly financial record.”
