There Are Now Video Games For Dogs

Your pets can now enjoy video games. This comes after the UK-based start-up company Joipaw announced it was developing multiple video games for dogs that can be played on a saliva-resistant touchscreen monitor.

The games in development are currently being prototyped. One of the titles is a whack-a-mole-style game where dogs have to choose which side of the screen has more bubbles on it. As your dog wins and advances, they are given treats. Also, these games reportedly have cognitive health benefits.

“It all started with a puppy called Kawet and us wanting to keep him busy and happy when we weren’t home. Given our love for video games, outdoor activities, and healthy lifestyles, it didn’t take long before Joipaw was born,” the company’s website reads. “Our goal with this venture is to push for a better understanding and inclusion of dogs and animals in human societies by showing the world how intelligent they are.”

The Joipaw console can be reserved now for as little as $6.42. However, it is currently unclear when the first devices will be shipped out.
