Exclusive Xbox Games Coming In 2023

The third game in the State of Decay series was first announced in 2020, and only basic information was shared. Frankly, the only information shared about the game so far is that there will be a new solar system and new crew members. A gameplay video has not been released yet, but looking at Obsidian’s other works, we can say that a slightly more polished version of the first game awaits us.

Fable 4

The Fable series started with the first Xbox in 2011. It was developed by Lionhead Studios and was unlike any other RPG of the time. The two sequels developed later reached satisfactory sales figures, and this series managed to create its own dedicated fan base. Lionhead Studios closed in 2016, but Microsoft wants to continue the Fable franchise: the fourth game will be released in 2023. This time the developer is Playground Games, and it has been working on Fable 4 since 2020. The story is expected to take place before the first game this time, but there is no definite information at this stage.

Starfield

Starfield is a game that we still don’t know much about, but that excites us very much. This is mainly because it was developed by the team that created the Skyrim and Fallout 4 series. The short videos released so far suggest that the gameplay will be a mix of both titles. Set in the year 2330, we are a space explorer searching the galaxy for rare artifacts, and that’s all we know right now. And there will be 100 star systems with 1,000 planets. Starfield is expected to be released in the fall of 2023 unless there’s a last-minute surprise, and it’s likely to be a game we’ll be playing for years to come: It could sit on the throne of Skyrim.

Redfall

Redfall did not create much hype, but it could be one of the sleeper hits of 2023. At first glance, it looks like a standard action-shooter, but it’s more than that. This game is being developed by the Arkane Austin team, who worked on the Prey and Dishonoured games. This means that an immersive and highly detailed world awaits us. Redfall will be a supernatural-themed open-world co-op shooter but can also be played solo. The gameplay reveal videos released so far show that the graphics and animations are quite satisfying.
