Last Monday, global technology brand OPPO announced its devices were selected as the official smartphones for PUBG Mobile Esports in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region 2021. The Reno5 Pro 5G and the Reno5 5G were selected for their gaming hardware and fluid experience.
As the official smartphone partner of PUBG Mobile esports in the Middle East and Africa, OPPO is expected to play an important role in the company’s esports championship series which runs through the end of this year. This deal marks the second time OPPO has partnered with PUBG Mobile. The two organizations previously worked together to sponsor the PUBG MOBILE MENA Challenger Cup in 2019.
“OPPO’s strategy is focused on engaging with our users’ passions in the UAE. In line with the huge popularity of mobile gaming in the region, we invested in bringing the ideal gaming platform to our customers through our latest Reno5 series of smartphones,” said Ethan Xue, the President of OPPO Middle East and Africa. “Selecting the new Reno5 Series as the official smartphone partner for PUBG MOBILE Esports in the Middle East and Africa region is a testament to the extraordinary and immersive gaming experience offered by our Reno5 Pro 5G and Reno5 5G smartphones.”
