STC Signs MOU With SAFEIS

It was recently announced that the Saudi Telecom Company (STC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Saudi Arabian Federation for Electronic and Intellectual Sports (SAFEIS) to become strategic partners and digital enablers. As part of the MoU signing, STC also announced the launch of the stcplay platform which hosts SAFEIS’s activities and participates in the games supported by the organization

“We are proud of the presence of such companies participating in the field of e-sports and SAFEIS is striving to support Saudi electronic platform startups in order to enable them in this field,” said Faisal bin Bandar bin Sultan, the President of SAFEIS. “We hope this partnership will ultimately ameliorate the players’ environment.”

The Saudi Telecom Company is a telecommunications business based in Saudi Arabia that was founded in 1998. As of 2018, the company has recorded almost $14 billion in total revenue.
