The Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) recently announced it has selected esports betting odds provider Oddin to be the organization’s official anti-corruption supporter. Oddin will now aid the ESIC in combatting corruption as well as esports match-fixing.
’We are happy to welcome Oddin into our global anti-fraud network. It is very important for us that key esports betting provider such as Oddin becomes a member,” said ESIC Commissioner Ian Smith. “They will help us fight match-fixing practices over the multiple jurisdictions they operate in. We look forward to having long-term cooperation with them.’’
Oddin will be tasked with helping the ESIC investigate suspicious betting activity. Furthermore, the commission expects Oddin to support the organization’s larger goal of preventing betting fraud and cheating in the gaming industry.
Oddin is a B2B provider of esports odds feed, risk management, and iFrame solutions based in the Czech Republic. According to a press release, the company focuses on delivering an “engaging esports experience with industry-leading uptime and number of live markets.”
