NuEyes, one of the pioneers of the augmented reality glasses field, recently announced the release of the company’s Pro 3e smart glasses. The Pro 3e offers features like a 148″ viewing screen in full 1080p HD. It is also the first pair of Augmented Reality smart glasses that are “5G-ready.” Furthermore, it is the only pair of glasses that are plug-and-play ready through the product’s “Type C plug to smart devices,” like Samsung’s S20 phone.
“As an avid gamer, the Pro 3e has been a joy to bring to market,” said Mark Greget, the CEO of NuEyes. “There are so many great cloud-based streaming services now. To be able to tether my controller to my phone or tablet and stream games in 5G while enjoying the content on a crisp 148″ viewing screen in full 1080p HD vs. a smaller 8-inch or 10-inch screen or a cumbersome VR device is the next evolution in technology for this space.”
The Pro 3e glasses are available to buy now on the NuEyes website through a presale. Interested customers can use the access code “fraser2021” for a 10% discount. The products will begin to ship in May.
NuEyes is a smart glass technology company based in California that was founded in 2016. The organization has made an effort over the last five years to expand its reach into the gaming and entertainment markets.
