Nazara Technologies Experiences Huge Jump In First Part Of 2021 Fiscal Year

Nazara Technologies has reported an 84% increase in consolidated revenue for 2020-21. The company said it delivered consolidated revenue of Rs 454.2 crore in 2021, a huge jump from Rs 247.5 crore in 2020.

“Gamified learning and e-sports segments have not only demonstrated strong growth momentum in FY21 but have also laid the foundation for predictable growth on account of proven user engagement and retention KPIs in gamified learning and multi-year media licensing and game publisher agreements in case of e-sports,” the organization said. “As Nazara is operating in high growth business segments such as gaming, gamified learning, and e-sports, we will continue to drive profitable growth while prioritizing growth over profit maximization at this stage so that we can achieve and maintain market leadership in the segments we operate in.”

This news comes after the initial public offering of Nazara was fully subscribed in Mid-March. Nazara is the first gaming company to list in India.

Nazara Technologies is one of the leading India-based gaming and sports media platforms. The company is known for producing games like the World Cricket Championship series, the Chhota Bheem series, and the Motu Patlu series.
