A brand new esports facility opened in Bakersfield, California on Saturday, May 1st. The venue, which was opened by American esports organization Nerd Street Gamers, offers both computer and console games for users of all ages to play.
Eric Choi currently serves as the Store Director. He said it is important for gamers to have an affordable place to play. “With the pandemic right now, particularly right now, people aren’t really in a financial means to be able to afford high-end, professional-grade equipment that’s where Localhost comes in, we’re able to provide fiber internet, that is very very, obviously very stable,” Choi said.
The official name of the facility is Localhost Bakersfield. It is located at 4310 California Ave in Bakersfield and is open seven days a week.
