Polish start-up company StreamCards recently announced it raised $530K (€434K) from a private investment round of funding. The organization was incubated by Tar Heel Capital Pathfinder, a venture building and venture capital fund.
“Speaking to Esports Insider, StreamCards VP of Operations, Dominika Szot, highlighted that the funds will be used to ‘scale the current product’, writes Kerry Waananen. “This includes, but is reportedly not limited to, ‘various additional gamification and engagement mechanics’ as well as ‘more sophisticated analytical tools’ focused on delivering insights on users and their engagement for broadcasters.”
Tar Heel Capital Pathfinder also announced its intentions to expand its portfolio over the coming months.
StreamCards is a real-time game designed to accompany esports events. It was made possible thanks in part to a collaboration with GRID Esports.
