GameSquare Esports Unveils 1Q Financial Results

GameSquare esports recently unveiled the company’s financial results for the first quarter of 2021 which ended March 31st. The organization reported £616K ($866K) in revenues during this period.

According to a press release, Code Red Esports, the parent company of GameSquare, revenue increased 97% year-over-year from the first quarter of 2020. The company credits the growth to its influencer sector nearly doubling over the last year.

“Our first-quarter results demonstrate that our business is moving in the right direction. We have announced a couple of great deals in the short time since acquiring Reciprocity,” said GameSquare CEO Justin Kenna. “The sales pipeline at the Gaming Community Network (“GCN”) and Code Red is robust with good progress on sales conversion. We are in talks with some of the most recognizable brands in the world and we look forward to making public announcements as contractually allowed.”
