LaLiga North America And Verizon Unveil Partnership

On May 5th, LaLiga North America and Verizon announced they would be working together to launch an always-on amateur gaming platform featuring EA’s FIFA titles. LaLiga All-Star Gaming Challenge presented by Verizon is a free online program operated by Boom.TV that runs from May 1st to November 30th. As a part of the deal, Verizon customers will receive exclusive activations if they enroll in the program.

“LaLiga North America and Verizon are harnessing the power of gaming to build a community of fans from all over the country who share a common love of FIFA,” said Head of Partnerships for LaLiga North America Patrick Lowe. “From California to Texas, Florida, and New York, LaLiga fans will be connected in new ways, all with the chance for the ultimate prize: a free trip to experience LaLiga with a friend in Spain.”

The program is available to all amateur gamers across the country. Event showcases are scheduled to be held in major cities like Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, San Antonio, and San Diego. Each region will feature a captain and influencer that help gamers in the area organize events and tournaments.

LaLiga North America is a joint venture between Relevent Sports Group and LaLiga. The organization serves as the exclusive representation for LaLiga in Canada and the United States.
