The Last Gameboard Raises $4M In Funding

Digital tabletop gaming platform The Last Gameboard recently announced it has moved on from crowdfunding to a $4 million round of seed funding. Following this announcement, the company said it plans to ship its tabletop gaming platform by the end of this year.

“This is no ordinary board game! It’s a complete gaming system that lets you play with anyone, anywhere, and with any game piece,” it reads on the company website. “The beautifully crafted, 16-inch x 16-inch square design, gives you unlimited 3D touch, network play and takes your game night into a whole new dimension.”

Individuals can reserve a spot to order the product on The Last Gameboard website for $39. Those that decide to not purchase the item can receive a full refund of their $39 from now until July 15th.

The Last Gameboard reportedly costs $699 according to TechCrunch.
