Esports organization Envy Gaming recently unveiled a strategic partnership with Botisimo. It was announced that Envy invested in the company as well.
As part of this deal, Envy Gaming CEO Adam Rymer will be joining Botisimo as a company board member. Furthermore, Envy will now use Botisimo’s live-streaming technology for its esports players and other content creators.
At the beginning of July, Envy also revealed it added three new members to the company’s board of directors. Angela Betasso, Cary Glotzer, and Hilton Howell III will all now be members of the Envy Gaming team.
“Esports’ popularity continues to skyrocket with no ceiling in sight, and the emergence of gaming and lifestyle streaming as top choices of entertainment among young people open new opportunities for our business every day,” said Ken Hersh, the Chairman of Envy Gaming’s Board of Directors. “We’re excited to add strong leaders to help guide our expansion and diversification as we establish Envy Gaming as one of the leading esports franchises in the world.”
