Egyptian Gaming Start-Up Closes Seed Funding Round

Egyptian gaming start-up Gamesbandy recently closed a seed round of funding. The amount of money raised by the company was not disclosed at this time.

Flat6labs Bahrain and Tamkeen led this round of fundraising. It is being reported that this money will be used to fuel the company’s expansion in the MENA (the Middle East and North African) region.

“Gaming is no longer a pastime. Due to the tremendous popularity of gaming throughout the world, many gamers have turned their passion into a lucrative business, and we’re aiming to facilitate that for the gaming community,” said Abdulrahman Aboshamah, Gamesbandy’s founder.

Gamesbandy is a gaming marketplace that was founded in 2020. The organization works to create a safe space for users to buy, trade, and sell goods between each other.
