GIGABYTE Unveils First Eyesafe Monitors

On June 3rd, GIGABYTE unveiled five “Eyesafe Certified” gaming monitors. The AORUS FI32QM28UM32QG24F, and the upcoming AORUS FI32U all successfully achieved Eyesafe display standards.

Eyesafe Display Standards are some of the most advanced requirements needed for blue light management and color performance in consumer electronics today. These standards were developed with the help of leading ophthalmologists, optometrists, and engineers.

“Health and safety are of paramount concern at GIGABYTE,” said Ming-Hsiung Liu, the Vice Chairman of GIGABYTE. “Our company is proud to introduce Eyesafe Certified gaming monitors, helping to reduce the risk of blue light and promote eye comfort for gamers. GIGABYTE is committed to the health and well-being of our consumers.”

These monitors are the first developed by GIGABYTE to be successfully Eyesafe certified. GIGABYTE hopes these products create a safe and enjoyable experience for all users.

The Profit‘s Take:

“Gamer health” is a trend. No surprise seeing this trend trickle down to the gaming hardware itself, but it’s likely more marketing at this point than technology that has a real impact.
