Chicago Venture Capital firm KB Partners is raising $100 million for promising sports-tech start-ups. CEO Keith Bank said the company has raised $64 million toward that goal. He also said he expects the fund to close this summer.
“There’s been more innovation in sports tech in the last 5 years than in the 100 years prior to that,” Bank said.
KB Partners has invested in several Chicago business ventures. This includes video streaming startup Phenix and interactive streaming platform Streamlayer.
