ESPL Partners With Infinix Mobile And REDtone Digital Services

On June 6th, the ESPL unveiled a new partnership with REDtone Digital Services (RDS) as part of an effort to popularize esports to Pakistan. Through grassroots tournaments, the organization will bring popular titles to Pakistani audiences like PUBG Mobile, VALORANT, Mobile Legends, and so on.

The ESPL and RDS have already begun working on organizing a series of esports tournaments to be held throughout Pakistan. They will also collaborate with each other to host a series of international gaming tournaments monthly.

Just two days later, the ESPL announced it had entered into a partnership with Infinix Mobile. Infinix will now serve as the organization’s title sponsor.

“This pandemic and the resultant lockdown have contributed to propelling the esports industry into mainstream entertainment,” said India Today Group’s Vice Chairperson Kalli Purie. “India Today’s Gaming and Esports platform will provide a thrilling experience to its users through a wide range of games, online tournaments, and an opportunity to win exciting prizes. These are very exciting times as the smartphone usage continues to grow exponentially and I believe partnership with Infinix Mobile will help us intensify our mission of taking Esports to the next level in India.”

The India Today Group began the first season of the ESPL on June 16th. Events will be streamed on Disney+ Hotstar as well as other India Today Group live streaming platforms.
