ESL Gaming recently appointed Roberta Hernandez as the organization’s new Senior Vice President of People and Culture. In this role, Hernandez will be tasked with creating strategies and programs that attract the best talent to the company.
“One of the key areas [of my position] include diversity & inclusion, meaning that ESL, as a leader in esports, will tie into previous projects such as women in gaming and beyond to further increase diversity in esports,” Hernandez said. “Another key area that now lies within my responsibility is the training and personal development of ESL employees and therefore foster their individual development and talents.”
Roberta Hernandez has been a human resources specialist for over 20 years. She has previously held positions with Zynga, Red Bull, Universal Music Group, and FilmTrack.
ESL Gaming is a German organization that was founded in 2000. They have esports teams competing in various well-known titles such as Dota 2, Hearthstone, and CS:GO.
