On June 1st, SteelSeries and KontrolFreek unveiled a new partnership with The Trevor Project. This deal will see KontrolFreek and SteelSeries promote LGBTQ equality in the world of gaming.
SteelSeries said it will be donating 100% of the funds raised from weekly Twitch streams to The Trevor Project. Furthermore, the company will match the total amount generated from live streams. Meanwhile, KontrolFreek will donate a portion of all its online sales to the organization at the end of June.
SteelSeries also revealed a new, limited-edition Pride-themed speaker. 100% of the profits from sales of these speakers will go towards The Trevor Project. The product’s starting price is $29.99
The Trevor Project is the world’s biggest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for members of the LGBTQ community. It works to spread messages of love and care to people of all backgrounds around the globe while amplifying the voice of LGBTQ gamers.
