On June 7th, the Brazilian football club Cruzeiro Esporte Clube unveiled a new partnership with entertainment company 7W Play. According to a press release, the team will use 7W Play to facilitate the club’s return to the world of esports.
“The expectation on social networks has always been huge and, today, even without activities, our esports channels accumulate more than 150,000 followers,” said Rodrigo Moreira, the Director Of Marketing and Innovation for the Cruzeiro Futebol Clube. “Now, this community has everything to grow again and take the name of Cruzeiro even further.”
In a press conference, the team said it will have competitive rosters in Garena Free Fire, CS:GO, PES, FIFA, and VALORANT. The organization also announced KlashX will sponsor its esports division.
