Berlin International Gaming (BIG) recently won the largest esports prize in the organization’s history. Instead of keeping the winnings, the company elected to donate the $600K prize to charity.
BIG donated all of the team’s earnings to the International Medical Corps. This is an organization dedicated to making COVID-19 vaccines readily available to people all around the world.
Berlin International Gaming won the prize after participating in a $10 million esports competition for charity known as Gamers Without Borders. This event featured tournaments in popular titles like CS:GO, PUBG Mobile, Rocket League, and more. All proceeds from the event were donated to charity.
