Esports Engine recently announced that Janet Shim, a former Riot games employee, was named the company’s new Director of Program Operations. In this role, Shim will head up Esports Engine’s program design and execution strategy. She will also work with key stakeholders to develop market strategies for the organization and its leaders.
“Janet’s pedigree and production expertise will be a great addition to the Esports Engine team,” said Adam Apicella, the Co-founder of Esports Engine. “Our goal is to produce the most innovative work in the industry, and we recognize the quality of our staff embodies the quality of our work. Key hires like Janet are how we consistently stay ahead of the competition.”
Before joining Esports Engine, Shim was a member of Riot Games’ event production team. It was there that she served as the organization’s global product lead. She spent the last nine years with Riot Games before coming to Esports Engine.
