On June 23rd, GameSquare Esports Inc. announced its subsidiary, the Gaming Community Network (GCN), agreed to enter a strategic partnership with analytics platform Spiketrap. Using Spiketrap’s AI, the company is expected to make its technology available across all GCN media network platforms. Furthermore, Spiketrap will help GCN identify audience trends while optimizing user performance.
“It’s critically important as we activate brands within our global network that they feel confident they will be represented authentically,” said Jeff Griffith, the Chief Strategy Officer of GCN. “Words matter when content creators and influencers are streaming or posting. Spiketrap can monitor those conversations in real-time, so we can give our brands peace of mind that we can make adjustments quickly and efficiently to keep them safe.”
Following this news, GCN also unveiled an alliance with Black Fire Innovation, a project started by the University of Las Vegas, Nevada and Caesars Entertainment, Inc. GCN’s gaming and esports expertise will now be readily available at Black Fire Innovation facilities.
GCN will work on a number of initiatives with Black Fire Innovation. This is expected to include producing college esports tournaments, coaching content creators, and developing an esports educational curriculum with real-world insights.
