On June 17th, Beryllium announced the company had secured $3 million in a pre-series A round of funding. This round was led by Bullpen Capital with contributions from Genting Ventures and Velo Partners.
It is being reported that this money will be used to expand the Beryllium team. It will also be utilized for engineering resources and Beryllium product development.
“Beryllium sits at the intersection of trading, social gaming, and sports tech and we’re excited to help them lead a fantasy sports-tech revolution in one of the world’s fastest-growing markets,” said Paul Martino, General Partner at Bullpen Capital. “We see massive opportunity in a fantasy-sports-meets-traditional-trading-type play, and we learned early on with FanDuel how big of an impact fantasy sports technology can have in the right hands.”
Beryllium is a Singapore-based sport and financial technology firm. The organization is most famous for launching its Sixer Game esports platform in 2020.
