On June 29th, Remedy Entertainment announced it had signed a co-publishing agreement with 505 Games. As a result, the two organizations will work together to develop a new Control video game.
As of July 9th, it is being reported that the title will be a multiplayer game that features a four-person cooperative PvE (player vs. environment) model. At this time, the project has been given the codename Condor.
“We are excited to continue and further expand our collaboration with Remedy. With over 2 million copies sold and revenue exceeding EUR 70 million, Control is an extremely successful game,” said Rami and Raffi Galante, the co-CEOs of Digital Bros Group, the parent company of 505 Games. “As a multiplayer game, Condor has the potential to engage the gaming community in the long run, contributing to 505 Games’ product revenue stream longer than traditional games.”
Condor will serve as a spin-off of the popular video game Control. The title, which was published in 2019, has been named “Game of the Year” 20 times since its release.
