CSL Esports recently announced it had entered into an exclusive partnership with the Washington State Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA). This deal aims to establish esports infrastructure solutions in the northwest United States.
As part of this agreement, Playfly sports, the operator of CSL Esports, said it will host weekly gaming events. This is expected to include three esports matches a week that will feature WIAA student-athletes.
“Esports is an opportunity to further engage our student populations and provide them with a chance to participate competitively like never before,” said Mick Hoffman, the Executive Director of the WIAA. “Through this new partnership with CSL Esports, our students will learn important life skills like team building, communication, and sportsmanship. We’re grateful to partner with CSL Esports who, like us, are focused on providing opportunities for young people.”
CSL Esports is also expected to host Rocket League, Dota 2, and League of Legends tournaments for WIAA student-athletes. These events are scheduled to take place in July.
