Guild Esports recently announced that Carleton Curtis would be stepping down from his role as the organization’s Executive Chairman. It was also revealed that Curtis will be leaving the company following a discussion with Guild’s Board of Directors.
At this time, Guild has not named a person to replace Curtis. However, it was recently unveiled that esports investor Derek Lew will serve as the business’ Non-Executive Chairman.
“It has been a great privilege to lead Guild’s development during its most crucial and formative time,” Curtis said in a statement. “I am proud to be handing over the baton as the business makes strong strides ahead and is well placed to prosper in the years ahead.”
Guild Esports is a United Kingdom-based organization that was founded in 2019. The company currently has teams competing in popular titles like Fortnite, VALORANT, and Rocket League.
