It was recently announced that FaZe Clan had received a strategic investment from the media company Cox Enterprises. At this time, the financial details of the deal have not yet been revealed.
This investment aims to enhance the pre-existing partnership between FaZe Clan and Cox Enterprises. The two organizations first teamed up with one another back in 2019.
“This is a huge leap in the evolution of our partnership with Cox Enterprises and Atlanta Esports Ventures that will lead to greater opportunities for all of us,” said Lee Trink, the CEO of FaZe Clan. “This investment comes at an ideal time as our brand has transcended esports, becoming a powerful platform for gaming and youth culture.”
In 2019, FaZe Clan agreed to partner with Atlanta Esports Ventures (AEV). This entity was founded in 2018 as part of a joint collaboration between Cox Enterprises and Province.
