Razer And Tribe Gaming Join Forces To Launch Scholarship Program

Tribe Gaming recently announced it has teamed up with Razer to create a $10,000 scholarship program. Over the next ten months, the organizations will work together to award ten students with ten $1,000 scholarships.

“Teaming up with Razer to launch a scholarship fund is a natural fit – we both want to more broadly support collegiate students, as well as lift the future of gaming and esports,” said Michael Valore, the Director of Accounts at Tribe Gaming. “Tribe has been hiring extensively within collegiate space over the last year, and we’re excited to help continue to cultivate the esports and gaming thought leaders of tomorrow.”

The scholarship program is open to all individuals in the United States that are currently enrolled in college. According to a release, each person that earns a scholarship will also be given various Tribe Gaming and Razer products.

This is not the first time these two companies have collaborated. Back in March, Razer agreed to a peripheral partnership with Tribe Gaming.

The Profit‘s Take:

More and more we are seeing these crossovers between gaming and education. It will be great to see more college graduates entering the workforce with an interest in working in gaming.
