Eight Titles Will Be Featured At 2022 Asian Games

The Olympic Council of Asia recently announced eight video games would be showcased at the 19th Asian Games. Arena of Valor, Dota 2, Dream Three Kingdoms 2, EA Sports FIFA, HearthStone, League of Legends, PUBG Mobile, and Street Fighter V will all be featured at the Asian Games which will take place in Hangzhou, China next year.

“We hope that this announcement allows all participating teams ample time to prepare and equip themselves ahead of the qualifying stages. I believe we have ticked all the right boxes ensuring a high level of competition which promises great viewing for enthusiasts and casuals alike. We at the OCA are looking forward to working closely with our friends at the Asian Electronic Sports Federation and the Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee to ensure a successful execution of the esports event at the 2022 Asian Games,” said OCA Director General Hussain Al-Musallam.

The 19th Asian Games will be a multi-sport event series that runs from September 10th, 2022 to September 25th, 2022. It is being reported that 37 different sports programs will take place during the tournament series.
