On September 22nd, North Carolina A&T University announced the school’s College of Engineering received a $1.4 million gift from the video game company Zynga. These funds will be used to help expand the gaming capabilities of the school’s Department of Computer Science.

This money will also help launch the Zynga Scholars Program. This initiative aims to strengthen the school’s esports curriculum.
