Microsoft has certainly been keeping itself busy in September. On the 28th, the company began testing its Xbox cloud gaming service on select supporting console devices. This means that Xbox owners with limited storage capacity will have access to games without having to sacrifice space on their consoles.
The Xbox cloud gaming beta is available now to certain members of the Xbox Insiders Program. At this time, Microsoft has not revealed when Xbox cloud gaming will be widely available on console devices.
On the same day, a report was released by Bloomberg that said Microsoft would be bringing Epic games to its online store. This comes as part of an effort by Microsoft to allow third parties to make sales on Microsoft’s digital platform.
“It’s also about making sure our business terms are fair and help promote innovation,” Microsoft said.
