Turtle Beach Named Sponsor Of UC San Diego

On September 15th, Turtle Beach announced it had become an official sponsor of the University of California-San Diego Esports. This deal will also see Turtle Beach serve as the primary accessories provider for UCSD’s new Triton Esports Center.

Turtle Beach will provide UCSD with numerous products and devices. This is expected to include Elite Pro 2 gaming headsets, Stealth 600 wireless headsets, Kone Pro mice, Vulcan TKL Pro keyboards, and more.

“UC San Diego leadership and Recreation are excited to champion the growth and development of UCSD Esports and the gaming communities on campus. With the opening of our first Triton Esports Center approaching, the partnership with Turtle Beach and ROCCAT showcases the incredible community that builds, supports, and accelerates esports forward,” said Rich Mylin, the Director of UC San Diego Recreation. “Furthermore, the investment they have made in creating scholarship opportunities for students will have a tremendous impact well beyond today.”

UCSD is a public school located in La Jolla, California. As of the 2018-19 academic year, there are over 30,000 students enrolled at the university.
