Report From App Annie Says Seven Mobile Games Generate Over $100M Each Month

According to a new report from App Annie, seven different mobile games average over $100 million each month. Furthermore, 810 mobile titles bring in about $1 million a month on average.

App Annie did not reveal the specific titles that generated this kind of money. However, Forbes‘ John Koetsier said that some of the games that make the $100 million list could be Pokemon Go, Roblox, Candy Crush Saga, Garena Free Fire, Genshin Impacts, Homescapes, Coin Masters, and Clash of Clans.

The report also showed that over one billion games are downloaded weekly on the iOS App Store and the Google Play Store. These downloads reportedly generate $1.7 billion each week.

The Profit‘s Take:

I rarely want to talk about mobile games, but this story definitely needs to be discussed. In 2019, only two games made over $100 million a month, so mobile gaming has clearly exploded over the last two years. I guess it’s time for us to throw all of our PCs away. Don’t worry, that was sarcasm.
