Expedia was named the latest sponsor for the 2021 Esports Awards. According to a press release, the company will work closely with the Esports Awards to create numerous activations. Furthermore, Expedia will organize several live streams the night of the show with hosts around the world.
“We’re excited to announce this collaboration with the Esports Awards, an event as global as our travelers,” said Mike Wolfe, Expedia Group’s Head of Global Brand Creative, Sponsorships and Partnerships. “We know the travel audience is a big part of the gaming family and we look forward to helping them, fans and followers unleash their travel greatness through the epic, in real-life trips we all can’t wait to take again.”
The Esports Awards are scheduled to take place in November at Esports Stadium Arlington in Texas. Several awards will be presented including the game of the year and the organization of the year.
