Beyond Gaming’s Chien “Maoan” Mao has been suspended for the remainder of the League of Legends World Championship. This came after Mao allegedly leaked drafting information to people so that they could have an advantage when betting on esports matchups.
These allegations first came to light after a report on Twitter was revealed by PCS host Jenny “Reirachu” Lee. In this post, Lee said that Mao had “apparently been leaking pick/ban to people for betting.”
In the same posting, Lee claimed that the owner of Beyond Gaming, Xue “DinTer” Hong-Wei, made an appearance on a recent live stream saying he was going to fire the accused mid laner. No official announcement about the League of Legends pro has been made yet.
