On September 30th, Electronic Arts Inc. announced it had promoted Laura Miele to the position of Chief Operating Officer. This promotion is expected to take effect later this year. Additionally, the company’s current COO, Blake Jorgensen, is expected to leave the company sometime in 2022.
In a recent blog post, EA’s CEO, Andrew Wilson, said that it’s time for EA to “push ourselves to continue innovating, to evolve, and drive transformation for our players.”
This is not the only change coming to EA’s leadership positions. The company appointed Chris Bruzzo as the organization’s new Chief Experience Officer. On top of that, EA said it will begin looking for a successor to take over Blake Jorgensen’s role as CFO.
