HOST And Vexed Gaming Launch Esports Studio In England

The United Kingdom-based innovation hub HOST recently announced it was partnering with Vexed Gaming and the University of Salford. As a result, all three organizations will work together to launch the HOST Esports Studio in Salford, England.

The studio will serve as a training ground for pro and amateur gamers. Additionally, it will host local esports tournaments in order to encourage gaming growth amongst children. Moreover, Vexed Gaming and the University of Salford will support local esports talents.

“I am delighted to come on board and to secure a Manchester-based training ground for our professional teams here at Vexed Gaming and to support a local opportunity for young people to foster their passion for esports,” said Mark Weller, the Chief Gaming Officer of Vexed Gaming. “Esports has provided me with a rewarding career, and we’re keen to invest back into our local community to build an esports ecosystem for everyone within Manchester.”

To celebrate the launch of the esports studio, the World Esports Day venture came to Salford on October 23rd. This initiative was first launched by the British Esports Association, Twitch, the Global Esports Federation, and the Singapore Esports Association.
