Prime Minister of Malta, Robert Abela Hosts Esports Technologies Aaron Speach For Visit

Aaron Speach, the CEO of Esports Technologies Inc. met with Robert Abela, Prime Minister of Malta on August 2nd to discuss their plans to set up its European headquarters in Malta as well as Malta’s strategic commitment to the esports industry. Esports Technologies opened an office in Malta in June of 2021 and plans to headquarter its European operations in the country. This should accelerate Esports Technologies’ international growth strategy, simultaneously making Malta one of the major European hubs for esports.

Malta is the host location for both 2021 seasons of ESL Pro League, one of the major professional leagues in esports. This designation resulted from a strategic partnership between ESL and GamingMalta, an independent non-profit organization founded by the government of and the Malta Gaming Authority. The ESL Pro League commitment coupled with the country’s highly educated talent pool, robust tech infrastructure, and business-friendly environment makes for an exceptional opportunity for Esports Technologies in Malta.
