Vans Becomes Latest Company To Enter World Of Gaming

Vans recently announced it had agreed to a partnership with Roblox. As a result, an interactive experience was launched on the video game platform called Vans World.

This online gaming project allows players to skateboard in various digital parks while obtaining and wearable digital Vans merchandise. The experience will feature a hub where users can shop for exclusive virtual Vans products, numerous in-game skate parks, and a regular “free item of the day”. Some products can be purchased with Robux, the in-game currency used on the platform.

“We kept a lot of the Roblox aesthetic in there, but we wanted it to be also representative of some of the things that are important to us globally,” said Julia Patkowski, the senior manager of global brand digital marketing at Vans.

At this time, it is being reported that some apparel from Vans World will be wearable in other Roblox experiences. However, the company’s signature shoes will not be available outside of Vans World.
