During The International 9, viewership for the event topped out at 1.9 million viewers. This means that the number of people that watched this year’s tournament increased by 37%.
Additionally, Team Spirit’s championship run helped The International break records in the CIS (Commonwealth of independent states) region. The grand finals saw 1.2 million concurrent viewers from the CIS region watch 41.2 million hours of TI10 content, setting a new regional record.
